ALTERATIONS

  • We recommend an appointment when possible, but are happy to take walk ins. If you are bringing in a large amount of clothes, or something more specialized (wedding dress, etc) we encourage you to make an appointment so we can devote the time to you to achieve your perfect fit.

  • Not to worry! We strive to make the process quick and painless. When you come in to the shop you’ll try on your items so we can determine what’s needed and pin your clothes. Then you’ll receive your final cost/pay for your alterations and be given a date of completion. Once your alterations are done, you’ll receive a text letting you know your clothes are ready for pickup. You are welcome to pick them up yourself if you wish to try them on, or feel free to send someone to get them. Should any further adjustments be needed, we are happy to do that.

  • Our price list can be found here. Keep in mind that most alterations are within a rage depending on factors like construction, fabric, timeframe. Exact cost will be determined at your fitting.

  • For most clothes, turnaround time is around 4-5 business days. We can do up to same day rush for a small fee. Wedding dresses typically take 3-4 weeks.

  • Anything that will affect the fit of your clothes (shoes, shapewear, etc.).

  • We sew just about everything that goes on your body! If you’re not sure, feel free to text us a picture of your project and we can let you know if we can accommodate you.

  • Yes! Whenever possible, we do our best to repair your clothing and help keep it in your closet and out of the landfill. Give us a call or come in and we will assess the best way of fixing your item.

  • We take on custom clothing on a very limited basis, but are hoping to add more bespoke items to your list of services. Sign up to our email list to be the first to know when we expand our scope.

  • Yes we do! We give a 10% discount on all alterations to our Service members as a thank you for your service.

  • We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and strand behind our work. If you need further adjustments to your clothing, please bring it back to us within 2 weeks and we will adjust it at no additional charge on alterations we have completed. Please note, due to the changing nature of bodies, adjustments after the 2 weeks window, or alterations to new parts of the clothing may require an additional adjustment fee.

BRIDAL

  • Whenever possible we encourage our brides to make an appointment so we can give you the proper time and attention.

  • Please bring your dress and anything you are wearing the day of your wedding/pictures that will affect how the dress fits (shoes, shape wear, bra, etc).

  • Bridal alterations are our most detailed and extensive alterations and as such typically take 3-4 weeks. We can usually accomodate rush orders, but rush orders must have their timeline approved in person at your first fitting.  Where possible, we ask that you give us as much time as possible so we can provide the best result to you and allow for the necessary follow up fittings.

  • Most of the time, you will only need 1-2 fittings, but some dresses will require more. Please book a bridal consultation so we can discuss your dress and timeframe.

  • We stand behind our work, and if you’re not happy we’re not happy. Please tell us what you need at your final fitting so we can resolve it asap. If you get your dress home and notice something after the final fitting, please let us know right away. Please note that because of body fluctuations, etc that any adjustments after 2 weeks of pickup may be subject to additional alteration fees.
